Summary:
Creating cutting tools for machining is a complex process that requires in-depth business knowledge. The machining contexts are not identical and require tool selection to be adapted. These tools are defined by a large number of geometric characteristics, which complicates the analysis work. In this research project, we propose a solution based on genetic algorithms to automatically generate high-performance tools in different machining contexts.
