Simon Husslein is a Zurich-based designer, founder of Atelier Simon Husslein, and studio critic in the Space Design/Interior Architecture Department at HEAD – Genève, where he has taught since 2017. A graduate of the Royal College of Art in London, he merges physical and digital worlds in a practice ranging from installations to interiors, furniture and watches. With over 20 years of experience in art, design, scenography and interior architecture, he has also worked in London, Tokyo and Shanghai, collaborating with international clients and earning numerous awards, including two Red Dot "Best of the Best" awards. In 2023, Husslein co-founded BEYOND.PLACE, a laboratory pioneering immersive experiences in spatial computing, which explores the intersection of spatial design and digital innovation through exhibitions, installations and consultancy services for global brands.
