I hold a PhD in social sciences from the University of Lausanne (2007) and I am interested in the dynamics of interactions, whether mediated by technology or not, from a sociological perspective. My research covers mainly the fields of gender, ageing, care, and media communication (ORCID ID: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0044-4624).
As part of the Human-Centered Computing Group (HUCO) at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis Institute of Informatics, I am currently working on the collaborative SNSF project "Beyond Novelty: Everyday Use of AI in medical education and practice" (https://data.snf.ch/grants/grant/10006293).
HUCO aims to develop research on human-machine interactions (in the field of healthcare and beyond) using ethnographic methods inspired by ethnomethodology and conversation analysis.
