Description du projet :
Non-specific chronic low back pain guidelines recommend rehabilitation along a biopsychosocial approach. However, though research on psychosocial issues addresses important needs of health professionals and patients, it has been less developed than biomedical research so far. Noteworthy, little is known about patient's expectations relative to physiotherapy for chronic low back pain (CLBP), while professional recommendations advocate taking then into consideration. A research about patient's expectations would provide knowledge about expectations' nature and evolution, improve comprehension of the patient's perspective and contribute to identify area of potential strain between patients and professionals. The aim of this study is to explore the expectations of patients following an intensive CLBP rehabilitation program toward physiotherapy services and physiotherapists. We will apply an interpretative socio-anthropological approach based on interviews of patients undergoing rehabilitation.
