Prof. Equey’s research areas are Open Innovation, ERP's systems, performance measurement and risk assessment. She had led an innovative project funded by the Swiss Confederation (Innosuisse) aiming to develop a management accounting simplified module of an ERP system for SMIs. She also was in charge for Switzerland of a European Project called OI-Net (Open Innovation Network https://oi-net.eu/). In 2015, she was invited by Prof. Henry Chesbrough (UC Berkeley, Hass School of Business) as a Visiting Research Scholar, and has joined the Open Innovation seminar of Prof. Chesbrough during a semester. Recently, she awarded funding to co-lead the 2.5-year European INTERREG research project “Open Innovation in SMEs to assist with cross-border strategic foresight for social economy and the digital industry” with prof. Gauthier.
Prof. Equey is a member of the Executive Committee of a foundation which contributes to welcome and help refugees (called in French: Les Réfugiés d’hier accueillent les réfugiés d’aujourd’hui).
In 2015, prof. Equey was invited by Prof. Henry Chesbrough (UC Berkeley, Hass School of Business) as a Visiting Research Scholar. She joined the Open Innovation seminar of Prof. Chesbrough during a semester and, thus, developed numerous international contacts. As well as with the network created by the OI-Net European project, which accounted 52 European partners, she can benefit of an important international network.
